Introduction, Rules and Regulations

I. Introduction

Dear visitors,

We would like to welcome you all to the first Annual Ramadan Special (Ramadan 1418) presented by The ArabView Network. We have created this contest aiming to educate and entertain our visitors during the Holy month of Ramadan. Through the questions, we attempted to cover general aspects of the following topics: Ramadan and fasting, Islamic history, and Islamic countries. The questions were meant to encourage people to refresh the information they already know, or to do simple searching on the Web or libraries. In order to further facilitate entering the contest, the formats of the questions are either multiple choice or true or false.

Wishing you all an acceptable and enjoyable Ramadan.

II. Rules and Regulations

1. You must fill all the fields of the entry form.
2. Only one entry per person is permitted per weekly contest.
3. Attempt to answer all questions.
4. Entries must be submitted before the posted weekly deadline.
5. Draws will be conducted on a weekly basis. One winner will be chosen per week.
6. Prizes shall be awarded to the entry having the maximum number of right answers. In the event of more than an entry having the same number of right answers, a random draw will be used to determine the winner.
7. At the end of the month (after all the contests), a special draw, through random selection, to give 2 prizes to people who participated in ALL of the weekly contests.
8. All decisions made by the organizing committee are final.
9. TotalView Internet Services and Consulting, Inc. employees , ArabView team members, and their affiliates and partners and their families are not allowed to enter.
10. Only one entry per family is allowed. Multiple entries from the same family at the same address (e-mail or mail) will automatically be disqualified from the contest. Multiple entries having the same mailing address (or e-mail) are subject to automatic disqualification as well.
