Ramadan, the Holy month! The holy month of Ramadan is the 9th month of the Muslim calendar were all Muslims "Fast" or refrain from eating from dusk till dawn. It is also believed that during this holy month, the Quran was revealed (believed to be on the 27th day of Ramadan - "Laylat al Qadr" or "Night of Power") to the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as a means of guidance and salvation to mankind. |
